Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1977) is a famous American actor best known for playing Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons AMC's historical drama Mad Men. The series brought her six Emmy nominations for the best supporting actress and deserved praise from critics. The actress has earned recognition throughout the past two decades for her performances in the legal drama Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star. Films consist of Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers - Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. Additionally, she's lent her voice in animation films such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. Earlier she began her career as a model and carried on for several years before she made her acting debut on TV with the anthology show Undressed at the end of 1999. Her first big role was in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers following which was also recognized for her role in the cult hit Firefly. In 2010, she was named the sexiest woman in the world and the most attractive woman within America by Esquire magazine.
