The child was born to Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her sister-in-law. She became only the second female to win So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea's surname is in honour of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian passed away when he was just three years old. He was a horse vet. Bea wasn't told the particulars of his death away until she turned 13. In 2017, she composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also adopted her stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea (and her sister Sinead) was raised in a home by Helen Moloney, who was a school instructor and trainer of jockeys who was also a professional jockey. Their parents were both obsessed with racing and horses. Bea started out her career as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However, she realized early on that racing was not for her.
